School on the Cloud (SoC)

SOC LogoWhy the cloud in education?

Cloud computing is being adopted across all sectors. Education needs to take into consideration these ground-braking changes and benefit from Cloud deployment by providing an affordable route to learning in innovative ways via customized solutions.

What ist School on the Cloud?

SoC is an ICT network aiming to explore new dynamic ways to educate. This aligns with the way we think, share, learn and collaborate, across various education sectors, by exploiting the opportunities arising from “Cloud” environments.

Who are the members?

Most of the 57 partners are leaders in their educational sectors. They represent 18 European countries and include 10 Schools, 21 Universities, Companies, NGOs, National Authorities, Research Centers, Associations and Adult Education providers.

What is the aim of TIP in the Working group i_Learner?

The TIP member Prof. Bosse is part of the workgroup i-Learner. The workgroup will bring together teachers and educators, schools, colleges and adult education to exploit the opportunities resulting from both formal and informal learning situations. It will define personalized learning, develop a manual on how to implement it and demonstrate existing good-practice case studies. Prof. Bosse especially cares for questions belonging to personalized learning for students with special needs related to the cloud.
